We're thrilled to announce a successful showing at the Esri User Conference (Esri UC) 2024 held in San Diego. The event provided a valuable platform for Celantur to showcase our industry-leading image and video anonymization solutionsto a global audience of GIS professionals.

The Esri User Conference attracted more than 20,000 attendees. Esri is the global market leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, location intelligence, and mapping.

Expanding Reach: ArcGIS Marketplace Listing

A major highlight of the conference was the official listing of Celantur's solutions on the Esri ArcGIS Marketplace. This prestigious placement grants Celantur access to millions of visitors who frequent Esri websites, significantly expanding Celantur's reach and visibility within the geospatial community:

AI-powered Image Anonymization: Aiding Disaster Response after Hurricanes While Protecting Privacy

Celantur showcased its enterprise-grade image anonymization during a talk titled "Anonymizing Disaster Zone Street-level Imagery from Hurricane Ian". Partnering with Nodeology, Site Tour 360 and Mosaic51, they anonymized over 8,000 high-resolution street-level panoramas captured in regions affected by Hurricane Ian for emergency response agencies like FEMA to enable faster emergency response and planning. Celantur's technology automatically blurred faces, people, and license plates, ensuring citizen privacy during disaster response.

  • Disaster response relies on clear visuals for damage assessment and resource allocation, as early as possible.
  • Visuals need to be shared between emergency response agencies.
  • However, street-level imagery can expose personal details and depict persons in vulnerable situations, raising privacy concerns.

Celantur Prepared to Meet Growing Demand for Privacy-Preserving AI as US Prioritizes Data Security and Privacy

"President Biden Issues Executive Order on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence" - a full paragraph titled “Protecting Americans’ Privacy” addresses privacy-preserving technology, exactly what Celantur is recognized as a top technology company in.

This focus on privacy is particularly timely, as image and video anonymization is becoming an increasingly important topic in the US. There's even a political push to protect people's privacy, with initiatives like the recent Executive Order highlighting the need for robust data anonymization solutions.

Throughout Esri UC, Celantur had the opportunity to engage in over 40 productive discussions with potential new and existing customers. These discussions highlighted the growing demand for such solutions, particularly among US governmental institutions and companies collaborating with them.

"We're incredibly pleased with the positive response to Celantur's solutions at Esri UC 2024. The Esri ArcGIS Marketplace listing is a game-changer for our reach, and the productive conversations we had validate the growing demand for privacy-preserving solutions in the US."

-- Alexander Petkov, CEO Celantur GmbH
